Those who know me know I'm not one to give up easily. I'm a fighter. I go after what I want and work hard toward my goals. I'm driven, love challenges, and give it my all. When it comes to relationships, I'm no different.
But there were times in my life when giving up seemed to be the best choice, and when I have, I usually regretted that I did.
Circumstances can sure get the best of us, tempting us to throw in the towel.
When we allow fear or the present pain we’re facing to cloud our vision of what could be just around the corner of difficulty. Jesus encourages us not to give and put our hope In Him! Psalm 30:5 says that weeping may last for the night, but joy comes in the morning.
King David experienced many ups and Downs, triumphs and sorrows, but in everything, he kept his eyes on the Lord, even when times were hard.
One thing I know for sure, if it wasn’t for the grace, mercy, and love of God in my life I don’t know where I would be. Despite my many failures and shortcomings, He remains faithful! He has never Given up on me, and He won’t give up on you either! But You must keep your eyes on Him as King David did. Seek Him and live a life of surrender to Him. Repent and cry out to Him, and He will direct your path.
The Bible says that Satan is the deceiver, the liar. He roars around, seeking who he may devour. He comes to steal, kill, rob, and destroy. Steel your hopes and dreams, kill your love and your marriage. Rob you for peace and joy. He’s relentless! He hates you and he hates your Marriage!
But God loves you and loves your Marriage and wants you to succeed! He has given us everything we need in Him and in His Word to do just that!
I don’t know what you're facing today, but I know that there is nothing too Difficult with God!
Even if your spouse says that they no longer love you. Even if you find out that there’s been infidelity, even if the love you once had is gone, and all that's left is bitterness and anger. Even if you find yourself in what looks hopeless and the pain seems Unbearable, I want to encourage you NOT to GIVE UP! Hang in there. Don’t throw in the towel. A breakthrough can come! Don’t listen to the enemy's voice, there is always hope in the Lord. Cry out to Him! It Doesn’t matter what your “Even if” is because we have an “ Even if” kind of God!..
Not everything in life is always tied up in a nice bow. Life is hard and painful many times. God doesn’t promise a pain-free life, but He promises to walk with us through it and never leave us!… in John 16:33 Jesus says I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth, you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world!
