MEET COLLEEN COX
Colleen is a Certified Marriage Coach and Mediator, through X.O. Marriage Institute out of Dallas, Texas, and the CEO of ReConnect Marriage Ministries. She is married and together with her husband, has six children and six grandchildren. She has been helping relationships and marriages for over ten years, giving Godly counsel, encouragement, and support.
Colleen has a heart and passion for seeing couples succeed. Through her own life experiences and having gone through the pain of divorce, she understands how real the struggles in marriage can be and can relate in a very personal way, offering compassion and hope!
Through Colleen’s healing journey, she gained hope and a belief that there was a better way to do marriage than what she had experienced. She was introduced to Marriage Today with Jimmy and Karen Evans and X.O. Marriage over 15 years ago. Through the power of God’s healing work in her life and those ministries, came a deep desire to help others in hurting relationships get the same healing and hope she had received.
Over the years Colleen has taught countless couples how to communicate and resolve conflict. She has given couples hope and healing when they have felt hopeless and wanted to give up.
Colleen has also worked with individuals who needed healing for emotional wounds. She has helped them be able to see their worth and value, understand how to implement healthy boundaries, and grow in their relationship with God. She has worked with couples on the brink of divorce get healing and fall in love all over again.
Through Godly principles, tools, and techniques, Colleen can teach you how to have the marriage of your dreams, the way that God intended, when you do marriage God’s way!
Colleen is also a singer and has been ministering through song and her personal testimony of God’s goodness and faithfulness in her life for over 40 years.
Colleen offers an evening of ministry for married couples and those planning to tie the knot. She teaches couples how to do marriage God’s way and how to apply Godly principles in their marriage no matter what they are facing in their relationship and no matter what season of life they are in.

OUR BELIEFS
The Bible is the inspired word of God, written by humans through the Holy Spirit, our Advocate and Helper. We believe in the Trinity; God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God the Father is faithful and good and is a covenant-keeping God. He always was and is and always will be. He’s the great “I am”. God loves us so much that He sent His only son Jesus, who is perfect, to be the sacrifice, the “Mediator” between God and man, to die on a cross shedding His blood for us. We are all born into sin and have all sinned and are in need of a Savior.
Jesus’ blood sacrifice was the complete atonement for our sins. Jesus defeated death on the cross and His resurrection gives life, healing, and the forgiveness of sins to all who believe in Him and trust Him as the Lord of their life. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and through Him alone you have access to the Father.
We believe that, in the garden of Eden, God instituted marriage. We were given rules, roles, and responsibilities for marriage and if we follow God’s design for marriage, we can have a successful and fulfilling relationship.
We believe that when we’re in alignment with God’s plan and doing marriage as He designed it to be, we have a 100% chance of success in marriage.
